Privacy Policy

This Privacy Notice outlines tvScientific’s collection, use and sharing of information from (the “Site”). This Privacy Notice also covers information tvScientific obtains in connection with managing our business and relationships, such as customers, suppliers, and vendors, and in the course of communicating about our Services.  We’ll refer to that information as “Business Data.”  

This Privacy Notice does not apply to:

– Information that we receive or handle on behalf of our clients in our role as a service provider, such as information that we receive by providing services to online publishers, advertisers and ad platforms (collectively, our “Services”).  Such information is governed by the terms of the applicable Services agreement, rather than this Privacy Notice.
– The practices of third parties that tvScientific does not own or control, or individuals that tvScientific does not employ or manage. 

This Privacy Notice describes applicable data protection rights including a right to object to some of our processing.

1. International Visitors

tvScientific does not currently offer its Services in Switzerland, the UK and countries in the European Economic Area. Users from other countries should note that tvScientific collects, processes and stores information in the United States. By using our Services from locations outside of the United States, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to, and the collection and processing of such personal information in, the United States. The laws pertaining to the collection, use, disclosure, and processing of personal information in the United States may vary from those in other countries and may be less stringent than the applicable laws in your state or country.

2. Business Data Collection and Use

tvScientific collects contact information, such as name and email address, from you if you contact us though our Site’s contact page or any other section of our Site, or enter into an agreement with us. tvScientific uses these email addresses to send you messages that may be for marketing or non-marketing purposes, including messages relating to our relationship with you. tvScientific collects billing and payment information if you use our Services or if you receive payments from us. We use this information as necessary to collect payment from you or to make payments to you. Please contact your account manager if you need to update any of your information. tvScientific collects information about the usage of our Site. This information includes IP addresses, mobile device identifiers, pages sections or screens of our Site that are accessed by you, browser type and language and the time and date of visits. In addition, we also work with third-party service providers such as Google Analytics and Hubspot. These third-party service providers collect information about the use of our Site and across other sites and apps over time. The data collected by Google Analytics and Hubspot may be connected to other data that we have. If you want to learn more about how Google or Hubspot collects and processes this data and the choices you have to control these types of activities, you should visit, for Google, and, for Hubspot. tvScientific uses the Site usage information to track and facilitate use of the Site and understand trends. In addition, you should know that if you communicate with us, we will collect any information that you provide.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Site usage information is collected automatically when you visit or use the Site. tvScientific or its analytics providers, Google and Hubspot, will place one or more cookies or similar technologies (“Cookies”) on your computer or device if you visit or use our Site. Most web browsers are set up to accept Cookies. You may be able to set your browsers to warn you before accepting certain Cookies or to refuse certain Cookies. However, if you disable the use of Cookies, some features of the Site may be difficult to use or inoperable/unavailable. Moreover, these browser tools may not stop all collection of data for analytics purposes.

4. Sharing of Personal Information

tvScientific treats Business Data as personal information when it is defined as personal information by applicable law. tvScientific discloses such Business Data in the following limited circumstances. If we believe it necessary to comply or assist with applicable laws or regulatory investigations, or to respond to a court order, judicial or other government subpoena, warrant, or law enforcement request, then we will disclose personal information to a government, law enforcement, or regulatory body. tvScientific shares personal information with its service providers who help operate or improve the Site (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Google Analytics, Hubspot and WordPress). These service providers may only use the personal information for purposes of providing services to tvScientific. We may share personal information with our affiliates, strategic business partners and joint venture partners if necessary to operate our business. tvScientific may transfer or assign personal information as part of an actual or potential corporate change if tvScientific is acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, or is potentially going to be acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, or in any partial or total sale of assets (including in the event of bankruptcy), or in a corporate restructuring. In addition, we may disclose personal information: (a) with your consent; or (b) if we believe it will help to protect us, our customers, or any other person or third party, or to enforce any legal rights.

5. Links to Third Party Websites and Services

Our Site may provide links to third-party websites and services, including social media pages. Our Site may also include integrated social media tools or “plug-ins,” such as social networking tools offered by third parties. If you use these tools to share personal information or you otherwise interact with these features, those companies may collect information about you and may use and share such information in accordance with your account settings, including by sharing such information with us and the general public. tvScientific does not control the privacy practices of these third parties, and they are not covered by this Privacy Notice. 6. U.S. Interest based Advertising Opt-out

tvScientific adheres to the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) Self-Regulatory Principles. tvScientific may use Business Data and combine that information with other information collected on other websites and apps and use that information to provide you with relevant ads on other websites and apps. We may also use third-party advertising companies to serve ads on our behalf on other websites and apps. These companies may use cookies or other technologies to collect information about your visits and activities on our Site, other online properties, and email and text campaigns over time and across different browsers and devices, in order to provide ads for us and others about goods and services of interest to you. This is called interest-based advertising. The information collected by these third parties may include information that identifies your browser or device over time (including device identifiers and/or personal information which has been hashed or obfuscated). Users who opt out will probably continue to receive interest-based advertising from other companies, and the companies that are subject to your opt-out may continue to collect, use, and transfer data for purposes other than interest-based advertising.

7. Emails from tvScientific

We may communicate with you by email (with your consent if required by law). If you no longer want to receive marketing emails, please follow the unsubscribe instructions within the email.

8. Children’s Data

tvScientific does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 years old. You should not use the Site or enter into any agreement with us unless you are at least 16 years old and legally old enough to form a binding contract. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a child under 16 years old that you believe has provided personal information to tvScientific, please contact us at to request that we delete your child’s personal information from our systems.
